True coffee aficionados will appreciate the love that goes into each and every cup at Aksum, an artsy little Ethiopean coffee house tucked away down a side street in Brussels.
Organically grown single origin beans are roasted on premises here and you can tell that these baristas are serious about their brews.
Aksum’s walls are covered with rotating exhibitions — some by African artists, others with African themes. Djembe rhythms play through the speakers inside the shop’s green wood paneled exterior, rounding out the Ethiopean experience in this vibey little room.
Definitely worth seeking out if you are in the city center near the Grand Place. We only wish only we’d taken home more than one bag of beans as a souvenir.
